Another Cut

Woke up this morning with another cut, on my other hand. It's smaller than the first one, but it definitely hurts more:

It may be hard to see, but it looks like the top layer of skin on my finger was sliced off. I don't know if I'm smacking my hands on shit while I'm sleeping or something, but it hurts all the same.

Weekend Summary.

Sorry about not posting for a few days. I was without internet over the weekend and I'm starting to feel sick again. I just thought I would inform you about what happened during my break. SPOILER ALERT: It was some freaky-ass shit.

Friday: I started experiencing that hallucination again. The man/thing/whatever has been showing up constantly around me, only to disappear shortly after. I'm sure I'm still experiencing some sort of after effect of whatever I ingested, but it's been getting unnerving lately. On Friday I saw him standing under a street light around 8:00, and he was standing outside my bedroom window around midnight. Needless to say, it made me jump.

Saturday: The trip up north. It's a four-hour drive that mostly goes through small towns most people would have never heard of otherwise. During this drive, I saw him all over. Public parks, old buildings, pretty much everywhere. He seemed to appear more frequently in large groups of trees, which are abundant in northern Wisconsin. After this day, in which I see him in broad daylight constantly, I can confirm that whatever he is, he has no FREAKING FACE. This day leaves me with a pounding headache and the question of if I'm going nuts.

Sunday: What happened Sunday freaked me out the most. Along with the frequent hallucinations (Which are strange for what they are, considering they are all of the same guy), I woke up that morning to find this paper under my head:

In case you can't read it, it says: IT'S BEEN A WHILE.
Does this have anything to do with my hallucinations? I don't know, maybe. Did it scare the shit out of me? You bet your ass it did.

About an hour later, I also noticed this nasty scratch on my thumb:

I don't know what caused it, but it was pretty unsettling when I noticed it.

A few hours after all this, I drove back home, spotting ol' faceless all the way.

Since then, my sicknesses have started back up. I still have the cough, I'm having headaches again, and I've been extremely forgetful and tired as of late. I took the note home with me, just in case I need it later on for police evidence (Also because someone could have easily found it if I had thrown it away at my grandparents' place or something. I don't want to worry my family). I don't know who wrote it, but if whoever did happens to be out there: Fuck you. I have too much going on right now to deal with some asshole who gets a jolly out of messing with sick people.

That's really all I have to post right now. I didn't end up taking any pictures or video while I was there apart from the above two. Here's to hoping I can go the rest of the week without being driven insane.

Meh.

I really don't have anything new to say, but I've gotten myself in the habit of making a post every day. Nothing's changed since yesterday. William isn't saying anything, I'm feeling okay, and I'm still visiting my family this weekend. My life's been a bit boring lately.

I guess that's all for now.

Last Day

Well, William still isn't on campus. I couldn't find him anywhere before, during or after class. We have most of the same classes together, so I think it's safe to assume that he's gone when he isn't at any of them. I don't know what's up with him, but I'm still assuming he caught the flu. Meh, he'll probably be back after the long weekend.

As for my condition, I'm still doing as fine as I was yesterday. No real changes.

I was supposed to send William an E-mail today about what symptoms I experienced. Here's what I wrote:

"William,

Here's my results from the last five days (You know, after you fed me that infected muffin?):

Symptoms: Headaches, coughing (This damned cough won't go away), nausea, diarrhea. I also had a weird hallucination yesterday that some tall skinny guy without a face was in my house. I don't know what you did to those muffins, but I would just like to say that you are evil for doing this to your class.

Also: I haven't seen you for a couple days. Are you alright?

- Kyle"

I'm not really expecting a response, but it would be cool to know that he's okay. I'll let you know if I get any word from him. Again, I'm going up to see my family this weekend, so maybe I can get some happy footage to relieve you from all this stuff about me being sick.

Hallucinations...?

Alright, this is fucking creepy. I was walking upstairs to my bedroom, and as I was going up, I saw some shadow type thing at the end of the hallway. It was still there when I got to the top, but I could see what it actually was. It was a guy, but he was... I can't find one word alone to describe him. He was abnormally tall (I didn't measure him so don't ask exactly), appeared to be wearing a business suit or a tuxedo or something, and he didn't move. He was just staring at me.

But these aren't the creepiest things about him (other than the fact that he was in my fucking HOUSE). He didn't have a visible face. I was too fucking scared to move, but he eventually just... disappeared.

Now, I don't think any of it was real, I just think that whatever was in the muffin that made me sick may have also caused a hallucination of some sort. What this makes me wonder is: What kind of shit did William put in that muffin to make me see that kind of thing? Whatever it was, I just hope I don't wake up tomorrow with a craving for mushrooms.

I need to get some sleep soon, but I don't know how much I'm going to get after what I just saw. I'm off for now.

EDIT: I just realized that the guy that I kept thinking I saw out of the corner of my eye today was probably the same kind of hallucination as this one. I really need to try and get in contact with the rest of the people from the class (They all had muffins, too). They're probably dealing with this same kind of crap. If only I actually had any contact info from any of them...

Day 4

William wasn't on campus today. At least, he wasn't anywhere I looked (Which was anywhere he would be in a normal day, knowing him). I'm sure he just caught that flu bug I mentioned before and stayed home. Oh well, I'm sure he'll be back tomorrow. If not, I'm screwed. Tomorrow is the last day of the semester (I think I said that before). Along with that, tomorrow is also the last day of the experiment.

Now, on to my current condition. I'm still okay, I have a bit of stomach pain here and there, but otherwise I'm fine. Again, I still have the fucking cough, and it's still annoying as hell. No amount of Delsym will work to get rid of it, either. Oh well, I guess I'm stuck waiting for my immune system to kick in.

Come to think of it, I now remember having a rather painful headache during class today. It must have gotten to me, because I felt like I kept seeing some guy out of the corner of my eye.

How the fuck did I forget about that?

Whatever. I don't have the time to worry about it. I need to get some work done on a project. As usual, I'll make a post if more weird shit goes down.

Day 3

Alright, I'm feeling way better now. I only have the occasional stomach or head pain here and there, and I haven't had any other new sicknesses. I still have the cough, but it's more of an annoyance than anything else. I'm planning on going back to classes like normal tomorrow, barring the unforeseen. While there, I'm probably going to have a talk with William about what he may or may not have to do with this.

I guess that's all I have to say now, so I'm off. It's the end of the semester in two days, so I'll be having a long weekend. Along with that, I'm going up north to see my family and have a late Christmas. Maybe I'll post some pictures if I'm feeling sane enough.

Day 2

Well, this is just unfortunate. I woke up around 6:30 this morning, which is pretty early for me, and I had some pretty bad stomach pains. Since then, I've had four or five epic battles with diarrhea, and I think it's safe to say I'm losing. This sounds ridiculous, but I'm starting to think William may have actually put something in that muffin. Either that, or I caught some sort of flu bug. I think there's one floating around. I also just took a 5-hour nap, which, despite my extreme laziness, is very odd for me. I'm also starting to develop a cough, and I have an annoying headache right now.

I'm still not feeling well, so I'm probably going to avoid classes tomorrow. As usual, I'll make a post if anything about my condition changes.

Day 1

So, a full day after eating this muffin, and I'm still feeling about the same. I didn't have anymore weird dreams last night, etiher (at least none I can remember). There's only one noticable difference: My stomach seems to be having a weird reaction. It's not too big of a deal, though, so I won't elaborate.

Really, I don't believe any of that bullshit William fed us about what he did to the muffins. I'm sure it's just his way of recreating the Placebo Effect, which I'd assume anybody reading this blog has heard about.

You know, the experiment where doctors gave sick people sugar pills to see if they could think themselves better? Well, it apparently worked to some degree, so William decided to do the opposite to our class with baked goods. I don't think I want to know what twisted part of his brain gave him that idea.

Well, I have some work I need to get done, so I'm off. I'll make a post if anything changes.

Strange Dream

Woke up from a... weird dream just now. I don't remember it very well, but it involved fire, and something that resembled the Humanities building (The building where we had our presentations). Either way, it was important enough to wake me up. And take it from me, that doesn't happen often.

I'm sure this is unrelated to the 'effects' of the muffin, but I felt it was worth mentioning. A more detailed post will be made later today. It will mainly be about how I'm feeling a full day after ingesting the 'infected' muffin.

Back to sleep with me.

The Muffin.

This whole deal is because of a muffin. You heard me right. A fucking muffin. I know the idea behind this whole thing sounds a bit ridiculous, so allow me to explain:

I'm in a class for advanced students known as WCATY (Wisconsin Center for Academically Talented Youth), and today was our last day of the course in which we presented our final projects. As part of his project, my friend William gave everybody a muffin at the beginning of class. Unknowing of what would come later, we all ate them. When it came to him to present, he revealed that the muffins were part of an experiment. He claims he put 'something' in them that will make us feel flu like symptoms for a while.

Yeah. What a bastard, huh?

Anyway, we're supposed to e-mail him in five days with a summary of what we experienced. Since I'm constantly looking for excuses to spend normally wasted time, I decided to make a blog to... more or less, document how these next few days pan out. As for right now, I only have a slight headache, but that's expected after how long I spend on my laptop daily. I'll make a post if anything else happens.
